  The Green Turtle is one of my go-to spots for dinner, either after a movie or late night when we can't decide where to go.
  
  The food is usually really good. I had a Maple & Bacon Brunch Burger that changed my previous notions of what a brunch burger could be. The 1/2 lb burger, maple jalapeño, pickles, bacon, Gouda, and fried egg came together into one decadent, sexy, messy meal. I substituted standard French fries for the smothered sweet potato fries with its own bacon and FatTire beer cheese. Somewhere my primary care doctor was screaming but she had no idea why. I won't tell her and I doubt she reads my social media.
  
  Food is good, service can be variable. We either get really great servers who make sure no glass is empty, or empty plate isn't removed, or servers who drop by to take our order and then to take our credit card. The servers are young, probably college students, so variations in service come with the territory.
  
  One final note: The social media team for Green Turtle in North Brunswick is pretty on point. They do a better job than many at promoting their restaurant and the activities. Good job!

  The staff here is very nice and attentive.  The food is good, but could be great if the lettuce was fresh and crispy, and the tortilla chips were not stale. The Rockfish tacos were excellent, but the stale tortillas and guacamole that were not fresh took away from the tacos.
  
  This8 was my 3rd time there, and each time it was louder then the last.  This time they were playing music in the dinning room and had a party with a DJ in the party room blasting music with the doors wide open.  We needed to know sign language to try to have a conversation.
  
  This place vould be a 5 star restaurant if they paid a little more attention to the dettails.

  The Green Turtle is a bit confusing to get to because it is located in the new development area in North Brunswick. It is right next to a hotel, and the parking is behind the restaurant. The atmosphere is similar to a bar, with inside and outside seating along with bar food items to eat.
  
  I came here for dinner with some friends, and we ordered some drinks and appetizers to share. For drinks, I got the peach tea (no alcohol) which was really cute because it came in a mason jar and had ACTUAL peach pieces in it (although I required a spoon to scoop it out and eat). The tea is light and refreshing, and was very delicious. My other friends got alcoholic drinks, and you can have the option to add a shot of alcohol in the iced teas or lemonades if you want! The restaurant also has these drinks in a turtle shell, which is actually for a good cause that goes to help sea turtles (hence its name, the green turtle!).
  
  For the appetizers, we shared 3 different ones. For the nachos, it had a variety of different chips (different colors) along with toppings including tomatoes, chicken, onions, sour cream, blue cheese and a whole bunch of melted nacho cheese on top. The portion was pretty big, and we couldnt even finish it all! I wish the toppings were spread more evenly, because the middle had a lot of it, but when you get to the bottom or the sides, there was barely any. We also got the boneless wings in 2 flavors, cajun (dry rub) and asian (sauce). The flavors were really good, and I really liked the cajun seasoning because it had a bit of a kick to it. Lastly, my friends wanted to try to pretzels because they heard that it was known for it. It came with 3 large salted soft pretzel sticks with a cheese dipping sauce. I thought it tasted average, similar to any pretzel you can get in other places.
  
  Overall, The Green Turtle had some great appetizers and drinks. Might be back to try some entrees next time!

  This place has instantly become a new favorite for me! I've been meaning to try for awhile but finally made it in today. First of all the place is really nice and looks brand new. Our waitress Deanna was really sweet and attentive during our stay as well. For an appetizer we got pretzel sticks and WOW! They were honestly the best I've ever had and the cheese sauce and mustard were phenomenal! I got a veggie wrap and sweet potato fries for my meal, seriously so good. Filled me up without making me feel gross or full. A true 5 star experience.

  This is a fairly new restaurant and I was in the area this past weekend so I stopped in and had a really good experience. It's a sports bar and they mostly have burgers and American food, but the theme is Maryland and they have a lot of options with crab and old bay seasoning. For appetizer, I had the pretzels with dipping sauce and the cheese dip they gave was absolutely amazing. I asked the waitress, who was really nice, to keep the cheese so I could dip with my fries. I got the fish and chips with sweet potato fries which was also good. Only complaint was inside is a little dreary.
